This year our Family Vacation took place in the midwest. On May 4 I rode the shuttle to Salt Lake after school and took a plane early in the morning to Omaha where I was picked up and driven to Nauvoo....a full 24 hours of travel later we arrived in Nauvoo for an amazing family vacation...and a much needed break from school. Above is a picture with me and the boys...I love Kelan and Beckham.
We went to some gardens in Omaha on the last day we were there. So beautiful and I had so much fun hanging out with Kelan.

The bullet hole through the door and the window where Joseph Smith fell out. It was such a great testimony builder for me to be there. I had just finished the Book of Mormon in two weeks and I have such a great appreciation for Joseph and dedicating his life to the Lord and ending up dying for this gospel. Praise to the Man!

This is my temple and I was so excited that I got to go inside this time and do baptisms. I will definitely be returning...soon!

Grandpa taught Kelan to say "Scenic Idaho, Famous Pototoes" because that is what it says on the Idaho licence plates, he was just so cute when he said it I had to record it.

It has been an exciting semester so far this summer and I am loving having only 2 roommates. Our apartment is drama free besides my roommate who is getting married and freaks out occasionally....but really who can blame her. We talked my friend Taylor into taking our roommie picture on a beautiful Sunday...just thought I would share.
