Winter Wonderland of Memories 2011

So I discovered this magical collage maker called Picasa, and I know what everyone is thinking, that is old news and everyone knows about it. Well I didn't and I think it is awesome. During my break before I started student teaching my mom asked me to scrapbook my college years, which is a daunting task. We decided we would do a collage for each semester making it easier so this is the one for winter 2011.
Some highlights:
Area Director of Social Activities
Getting closer to some awesome peeps on Social including Mama Hymas, William, Martin, Maxine, Mariah to name a few
Onsies Wednesday... for one week only we got free shakes at Sammy's for wearing onsies
Hanging out with my girl Shalane aka Shayla and watching Despicable Me
Having awesome roommies, Morgan, Jordan, Christy, and Shayla
Being 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society
Becoming a Director for Spring semester
Retreat
Took the Art Praxis and passed!
Best FHE family ever! We tie dyed, make valentines and visited the elderly, Big Judds, ice skating, and scone party at Brother Browns.
Just a couple of great things about Winter 2011....

Fall 2010 Magical Memories

Here are a couple of my favorite memories of Fall 2010 Semester:
To end the Fall semester, David and I did the gallon challenge.... which I hate to say but I failed and puked up 2/3 gallon of milk. David finished but ended up puking a couple minutes later.
Sydney and me! I love this girl, she is my best friend and Fall semester would have not been as much fun without her. We pretty much did everything together the last 2 months of the semester. We went to the dedication of the BYU-Idaho Center which was amazing!
Social Activities was a major part of my life during the semester, this was at Married Date night where I saved the day and picked up the bread sticks.... okay not really saving the day but I did pick up the forgotten bread sticks. I love Social!
My wonderful mother works at Christopher and Banks and every now and again they put on a fashion show. My two lovely roommates agreed to be in the fashion show with me and we had a blast. Sydney and Shayla looked awesome and we had such a good time being "part time models."
Best of Show was another event we attended, the event wasn't all that great but I loved hanging out with my Social peeps. Once again I love my girl Syd.
I love Thai food! David and I went to get my favorite thai food and I just had to document the experience and let you know that it is soooooo good.
I can't remember what this event was called but Santa was there and hot chocolate, Christmas trees, candy canes, and some crazy elves. This is me with my director Amanda, I love her. She helped me so much in the Fall and I owe much of my success in the program to her. I love you Amanda Ellis.
Speaking of people who are inspirational and amazing and wonderful and etc.... Mama Hymas! My advisor who is one of my best friends. We have had some crazy time and I am glad to know that she is always there for me.
Mama Hymas invited us over for a dinner, which was delicious, we had a good time and were stuffed by the time we headed home. Thanks Mama for feeding your hungry children!
I just have to say that David Mann is crazy.... He took on the 3lbs BIG JUDD CHALLENGE. Of course his posy was there to support and keep his head in the game while he took on this CHALLENGE!
.... and this was my 1/4 lb hamburger.... which filled me up!
Oh.... I might have been apart of a one performance band. Yes.... I know what you are thinking. How did we not make it big time. I mean I was in the band playing the double harmonicas and we had a tambourine.... Well, turns out Los Gatos de Siesta, the name of our band, has a case of the stage frights and are going to school and stay pretty busy. We had a good run and were maybe not as original as we wanted to be. Long live Los Gatos de Siesta!
At the beginning of the semester we had a bonfire to celebrate being back in school. It was a good time to get all my friends together. Thanks everyone who came!
So it is not a big deal or anything.... but I was kind of a poster child for Social Activities. Okay so I pretty much am a big deal and was a POSTER CHILD FOR SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. I loved doing Social and was happy to help out with the This Means You campaign. Basically getting the peeps to share their ideas and join in Social. Love you Syd and Amanda!
At the beginning of the semester my Mom celebrated her birthday, we won't say how old, and allowed me to make her cake and spend the day with her. We sang happy birthday, both verses, and you can tell I am excited. Thanks Mom for letting me spend your special day with you.
I don't mean to brag... but this is my present I made for my Mom. She actually asked for it but I was happy to make it. Love you Mommy!
